Well, tonight was the American Idol Season Finale and a new idol has been crowned…Kris Allen! While he wasn’t who I wanted to win (I was rooting for Adam Lambert as anyone who reads my blog knows), I’m still happy for the guy. Both Kris and Allen will go far in their careers. I must admit that I did LOVE Kris Allen’s duet with Keith Urban (my fave country singer!). Adam’s duet with KISS was equally awesome…actually, no, it was one of the BEST performances I’ve ever seen on American Idol (and I’ve watched it since the VERY beginning). It was a fantastic show tonight. Lil’ Rounds did a duet with Queen Latifah, Allison Iraheta did a duet with Cindy Lauper (AMAZING!!!!!), the whole gang sang along with Jason Mraz (AWESOME!) and Fergie and The Black Eyed Peas, Kara DioGuardi showed us that she’s actually an amazing singer, and even Norman Gentle performed (LOL!). Fantastic finale, probably one of the best! Congratulations Kris!
