So, unless you don’t listen to entertainment news, you already know that Lisa Rinna desperately wants to star on the new Melrose Place. She was even outside with a sandwich board over her saying encouraging people to honk their horns if they love Lisa Rinna and want her back on Melrose. Lisa Rinna played Taylor McBride on the original Melrose Place. She moved into the complex with husband, Kyle McBride (played by Rob Estes who now stars on the new 90210 as Harry Wilson). I don’t know how they’d bring Taylor back or why. I like Lisa Rinna, but as Billie Reed on Days of Our Lives. I didn’t like Taylor on Melrose at all.

The Other Vanessa Williams, who played Rhonda Blair in season 1 of Melrose Place, also wants to come back. She said she could envision Rhonda has opened a few aerobics/pilates studios and now has a family. Rhonda could have been a cool character on Melrose, but they never gave her good story. She usually was pushed back to a supporting character. In the end, she met and fell in love with a guy and moved out of the complex. I don’t really know how Rhonda would fit into this new world they’re building, but it could be interesting to see her return after all these years.
