90210: Season 2 Spoilers!!!

Well, gang…we have less than a week for the season premiere of 90210!!!  This is very exciting, and I’ve been keeping mum about so many things I’ve learned will be happening this season on the show.  So, now I’m going to share everything I know in celebration that the new season is about to begin.

First, a bit of a recap.  Season 1 ended with Annie (Shenae Grimes) and Naomi (AnnaLynne McCord) having a huge falling out after Naomi mistakenly believed that Annie slept with Liam (Matt Lanter).  However, it was actually Naomi’s sister, Jen (Sara Foster), who actually slept with Liam.  After their falling out and Annie’s walk of shame out of the party at Naomi’s, Annie took to the bottle and went for a drive.  Annie’s drive ended with her running over someone.  Meanwhile, Liam went home where he was abducted by some militant guys that were going to take him away to boarding school per his step-father’s orders.  Dixon (Tristan Wilds) and Silver’s (Jessica Stroup) relationship continued to weaken, while Silver realized that Ethan (Dustin Milligan) had actually developed feelings for her.  Silver also realized that she has bipolar.  Adrianna (Jessica Lowndes) had her baby with Navid (Michael Steger) and Brenda (Shannen Doherty) at her side.  Brenda adopted a baby after learning that she could not have children.  Donna (Tori Spelling) returned from Japan and we learned she became a famous fashion designer and was having problems with David (Brian Austin Green).  However, Donna once again left Beverly Hills, to go back to Japan and try to reconcile with David.  Harry (Rob Estes) and Kelly (Jennie Garth) rekindled their friendship which turned out to possibly be something more, and this made Debbie (Lori Loughlin) uncomfortable.  Kelly also revealed that the father of her child is actually Dylan (Luke Perry), and she had a brief romance with Ryan (Ryan Eggold).  Silver and Kelly learned that their mother, Jackie (Anne Gillespie) had returned to drugs and alcohol, and finally Ethan left town (though we don’t know why yet).

OK, now for the season 2 spoilers:

Silver and Dixon are officially going to be ending their relationship!

There will be new cast members this year in the form of Teddy (Trevor Donovan of Days of Our Lives fame), Jasper (Zachary Ray Sherman), and Ivy (Amalia Zinser).  Plus Rumer Willis (daughter to Demi Moore and Bruce Willis) will be guest starring this season!

Annie will continue her downward spiral, which will lead her to a romance with Jasper.  Turns out that Jasper is the brother of the guy that Annie killed in the season finale, and he will be blackmailing and manipulating her throughout the season.

Liam and Naomi are still on the outs, so he falls for new girl, Ivy.  There will be a love triangle between Liam, Ivy, and Dixon.

The love triangle between Debbie, Harry, and Kelly will also heat up, while Ryan will be in a love triangle with a student and a new character.

Looks like Adrianna and Navid will be calling it quits, and she’ll be moving onto new boy, Teddy.

90210 and the New Melrose Place MAY crossover at some point during this coming season.

And finally, Kelly and Silver’s mother, Jackie, will learn that she has breast cancer and she may die this season.

Sounds like this season will be EXPLOSIVE!  Can’t wait until it begins.  And for anyone out there who doesn’t know yet, 90210’s second season will begin next Tuesday (9/8/09) at 8pm EST.  Thank you 90210 Insiders for most of this information!!  🙂

90210: Season finale pics and spoilers!!!

So, the next episode of 90210 (airing this Tuesday) will be the season finale for the first season of the show.  It’s entitled “One Party Can Ruin Your Whole Summer” and it sounds like it will be really exciting.  First up, the spoilers:

Adrianna (Jessica Lowndes) will be giving birth to her baby and Brenda (Shannen Doherty) will be back.  Will Brenda adopt Adrianna’s baby as initially rumored?

Also, someone may die, Ethan (Dustin Milligan) makes a declaration *maybe he tells Erin (Jessica Stroup) that he loves her?*, Annie (Shenae Grimes) loses it…as predicted by Liam (Matt Lanter), and Liam makes a mistake *maybe by sleeping with Jen (Sara Foster) and making it look like he slept with Annie?*.

90210: News on Prom!!!

Wow!  News is just pouring in!  Now it’s time for 90210! (And thanks to 90210Insiders for the following info).

This week, the kids from West Beverly celebrate their prom!  And, in an attempt to top the classic Donna Martin (Tori Spelling) drunken prom night, Adrianna (Jessica Lowndes) will be going into labor at the prom!  Also, we’ll be getting a lil’ show down between Jen (Sara Foster) and Kelly (Jennie Garth) over Ryan (Ryan Eggold) at prom!  Should be an eventful night!

Also, The Veronicas will be performing at prom.  In an interview, The Veronicas expressed their disappointment in not getting to meet Shannen Doherty (90210’s Brenda Walsh) b/c they are huge fans of her’s.  However, they did enjoy meeting series star, Shenae Grimes (Annie Wilson), and said that Shenae was really cool and hung out with them a bit.  And remember, Shannen will be back next week for the season finale!!!

90210: The Party’s Over

Last night’s 90210 was really good again.  The stories are moving along at a much more comfortable pace, and the actors seem to really be cliquing with their characters now.  It’s really nice to see. 

Last night’s episode was called “The Party’s Over” and it was based around Naomi (AnnaLynne McCord) and Annie (Shenae Grimes) throwing Adrianna (Jessica Lowndes) a bridal and baby shower.  Meanwhile, Liam (Matt Lanter) took the guys out for a batchelor party for Navid (Michael Steger).  The bachelor party was a bit odd to me since Liam has only ever interracted with Ethan (Dustin Milligan) and now all of a sudden he’s taking Dixon (Tristan Wilds) and Navid (Michael Steger) to a gentleman’s club.

So, on to the stories.  At the shower, Adrianna is visited by Navid’s mother who encourages her to give the baby up for adoption.  Apparently this really hit home for Adrianna, who had spent the better part of the episode questioning if she was doing the right thing.  Adrianna finally decided that she couldn’t keep the baby and wasn’t ready for motherhood.

Meanwhile, at the burlesque club, Navid meets and befriends a sorority pledge who tells him that he’s too young and cute to be getting married already.  This prompts him to realize that he’s happy he doesn’t have to search for a girl anymore, because he is so happy with Adrianna.

Ethan brings Navid to the Wilson house for the shower, and Navid and Adrianna discuss their future.  They decide to give the baby up for adoption and also to hold off on getting married.  Adrianna keeps her engagement ring and Navid says that they are now engaged to be engaged.

Meanwhile, Liam brings Nixon home, and Nixon is so drunk he’s throwing up all over the place.  Annie and Liam help get Nixon upstairs to his bedroom without his parents (Rob Estes and Lori Loughlin) finding out he was drunk.  During their encounter, Annie and Liam flirt, and Naomi catches it.  Later, Annie tells Naomi that she doesn’t like Liam AT ALL!  This makes Naomi happy.

While Dixon is recuperating from his hangover, Silver (Jessica Stroup) goes upstairs from the shower to see him.  She just had a long conversation with Ethan and realized she was being selfish in wanting Dixon to do everything her way.  So, she asks Dixon to the West Beverly Prom.  He’s happy, but still hungover and passes out.

Finally, Jen (Sara Foster), gets her father to hand over Naomi’s  inheritance so that Naomi can be financially free of her father.  However, Jen has an ulterior motive and gets Naomi to use the money to buy their new house.  I’m sure she’s got other plans for that money too.  Jen also goes on a date with Ryan (Ryan Eggold) and they really seem to hit it off.

Next week it’s time for prom, and Kelly (Jennie Garth) learns about Jen and Ryan’s date.  Looks exciting!!!!

90210: New Promo Poster for Season Finale and a New Spoiler!

So, the 90210 season finale will take place at the West Beverly Prom!  This poster sure has me wondering what will happen between now and then, and also what will happen after this event takes place.  Take a look:

If you can’t read the poster, it says:

A first kiss… A second chance… A last goodbye. Anything can happen on prom night.  One party can ruin your whole summer.

And just so you know, that is Silver (Jessica Stroup) sucking face with Ethan (Dustin Milligan).  Wonder what this will mean for Silver and Dixon (Tristan Wilds).  And whose last goodbye?  Could it be Ethan’s since he’s leaving the show?  Hmmm….

As for my new spoiler for the season finale (this comes from Michael Ausiello)…

Ausiello’s Answer: Interesting choice of words.  Makes me wonder what Jim Walsh (James Eckhouse) has been up to.  I hear we may find out in the finale.

Uh-oh.  Interesting choice of words to me would mean the word “dying”.  Are they killing off Jim Walsh?  I’m guessing Brenda’s (Shannen Doherty) appearance will explain this.  Hmmmm…

90210: Last night’s episode

So, another good episode of 90210 last night!  I’m really really beginning to like this show. 

First off, we got to see more of Liam (Matt Lanter), which is always a pleasure.  🙂  Naomi (AnnaLynne McCord) and Annie (Shenae Grimes) went to a bar to meet up with Liam and his cousin.  Naomi was a fumbling idiot in front of Liam and excused herself to go to the bathroom.  While she was in the bathroom, Liam began flirting with Annie.  However, while she seemed a bit interested, she played it VERY cool, which only caused Liam to want her more.

Erin (Jessica Stroup) went off to Catholic School, since she was so embarrassed by the sex tape she made of her and Dixon (Tristan Wilds).  Plus, since being diagnosed as bi-polar, she just needed to get a fresh start.  However, the girl that befriends her had seen the sex tape, and tells Erin that she must tell the entire school what she did to get it off her chest.  Until Erin told everyone, this girl was going to fast.  Feeling guilty that the girl may starve herself to death, Erin told the entire school and became the laughing stock.  Poor Erin just can’t catch a break.  😦

Adrianna (Jessica Lowndes) and Navid (Michael Steger) decided to tell his parents that they were getting married and having a baby.  However, when Navid’s parents learned that he wasn’t the paternal father, they told him to end things.  Navid rebelled against them and moved in with Adrianna.  Adrianna then confessed to Navid that the father of the baby is actually Ty (Adam Gregory) and not some guy from rehab as she originally told him.

At the end of the episode, after Naomi managed to piss off all of the Wilsons, she called her sister Jen (Sara Foster) and moved out of the Wilson Household.  Later, Jen drops Naomi off at school and bumps into Ethan (Dustin Milligan).  After an awkward hello, Jen whispers to Ethan “Don’t worry, I wont tell Naomi that I was your first” or something along those lines.  So, if Jen took Ethan’s virginity while he was with Naomi, it’s only a matter of time before Jen sinks her claws into Liam.  Also, Jen showed an interest in Naomi’s teacher Ryan (Ryan Eggold) who is dating Kelly (Jennie Garth).  I think Jen is going to stir up a lot of trouble in these hills.  What do you think?

Also, Tori Spelling (Donna), in a recent interview, has expressed her desire to come back to 90210 next season and she’s hoping that Brian Austin Green (David) will follow.  That would be awesome!!!!

90210: Tonight’s Episode

OK, tonight’s episode of 90210 was by far my fave episode of this new series.  It was actually REALLY good, and Jennie Garth and Tori Spelling actually remembered what it was like to play Kelly Taylor and Donna Martin Silver.  Everything about tonight’s episode made me feel like this was a real continuation of the original series, and I couldn’t be happier!

I’m glad that Naomi (AnnaLynn McCord) and Annie (Shanae Grimes) are making a go at being friends again.  However, it is such a fragile relationship, and I’m just counting the seconds until it’s dissolved once again.  The preview for next week show that this friendship wont last long, since Annie descides to go out on a date with Liam (Matt Lanter), which is Naomi’s man.  Stupid move Annie.

I’m actually getting really sad about Ethan’s (Dustin Milligan) upcoming departure.  The character is actually becoming three dimensional and I’m really liking him.  He was always easy to look at, but now he’s interesting to boot.  I’m still not completely understanding the move to get rid of him.

As much as I didn’t care for Navid (Michael Steger), tonight he actually grew on me.  At first I thought that this kid wouldn’t be able to carry a story, but now I’m actually enjoying him.  And I really really like his scenes with Adrianna (Jessica Lowndes).  I’m so sick of teen pregnancy tales, but this one is actually watchable.  That says a lot, b/c I really hate those stories.  They’re so played out.

My only complaint tonight?  Erin and Dixon.  First off, Erin (Jessica Stroup) became so interesting 2 weeks ago when she had her break down.  But since then, her character just hasn’t been interesting.  And she’s actually been EXTREMELY predictable.  Who didn’t see this story coming of everyone treating her like she’s a porcelain doll?  It’s been done so many times and there’s absolutely NO originality to it.  Plus, what a huge departure for her character in the beginning of the episode.  This is a girl that doesn’t give a shit about what people say or think about her, who has blogged about all her fellow students making fun of them, and now she cries b/c two snobs said she was a psycho?  It makes no sense.  I understand that she’s fragile now (could I use the word fragile more tonight?), but it’s still too big of a departure for her character.  Poor writing.

My honest opinions about casting…Get rid of Dixon (Tristan Wilds).  He’s BORING!  Not only is he boring, but he doesn’t have good chemistry with ANY of the other characters.

Keep Ethan.  Someone just needs to save him at the last minute.  Bring on George Evans (Kellan Lutz) permanently.  He’s the perfect new Steve Sanders and would look great with Naomi.  Plus he’s funny!  The kid has barely been given a story and I care more about him than I do about some of the series regulars.  Plus, he’s on the rise due to the popularity of the Twilight franchise.  Bring on Ty (Adam Gregory) permanently.  He’s awesome, he’s a snob, he’s hot, a perfect Beverly Hills brat.

After tonight’s episode, I also think the show would be smart to bring on Kelly, Donna, and Brenda (Shannen Doherty) on a more permanent basis and give them good and fun story.  As The OC and Gossip Girl have taught us, the adults can have very good story that entertains kids, teens, and adults alike.

I hope that tonight’s episode is a sign of things to come b/c I actually enjoyed it and didn’t feel like I was watching out of obligation for my love of the original series.
