Marvel is introducing a new Avengers cartoon starting tonight to cash in on the popularity of the franchise that’s growing due to movies like “Iron Man”, “Iron Man 2”, “Thor”, and “Captain America”. As most of you know, those 3 movies are leading up to what is going to be one of the biggest comic book movies of all time, “The Avengers”.

Tonight on Disney XD from 8:30pm – 9:30pm EST, the new Avengers cartoon debuts. The cast consists of Captain America, Thor, Iron Man, Hulk, Wasp, and Ant-Man. It’s looking VERY promising and got a lot of buzz at this years NY Comic Con.

In other Marvel cartoon news, season 2 of the popular “Super Hero Squad” will be debuting later this week on 10/23/10. Lots of celeb voices are slated for this season, including Jane Lynch from “Glee”.
